We become your partner throughout your pony acquisition experience. From understanding your needs through selection, importing, quarantine, arriving home to your barn, and everything in-between.

Sport Pony Imports takes on the role of Advisor either throughout the process or at specific pivotal stages.

Based on your experiences, you may desire assistance & consulting at various stages of the journey or perhaps there is an area or two where you need deep expertise or want to hand a portion of the journey (i.e. Customs) off to us. Often our clients know exactly what they are looking for in their next pony. But often they do not; They know they will know it when they see it. Or we have a set of criteria and as clients see various prospects, their criteria changes. All of this is wonderful, and the main goal is to find your PERFECT pony! One never really knows when one is going to fall in love.

Sport Pony Imports collaborates with you to confirm and prioritize your requirements, and then curating a group of ponies for your consideration. The grouping is typically 3-5 ponies, which includes obtaining photos, videos, and show records as appropriate for your consideration and review.

  • Focused on pre-approved sellers where we have a history with and trust.
  • All communications between Sellers, Breeders, and/or Owners in Europe.
  • Distilling down the group of ponies to those that come closest to your requirements and determining if we need to search for additional ponies for consideration.
  • This process tends to be surprisingly quick, not long and drawn out unless the market is not producing the desired options.
  • Obtaining additional photos, videos, or answers you may have about specific ponies after initial review.

Importing & Buying Abroad

Even when you have previously purchased and imported a pony abroad, with the ever-ending changes to guidelines and requirements, it can be a challenge to keep up with what is relevant for TODAY! We are here to ensure you are not daunted by all of the moving parts. We found this portion of the journey to your perfect pony to be a gap in most offerings and, with our skill, knowledge, and experience, a perfect opportunity to bridge that gap.
